Orange Dreams Tablescape

There’s something about citrus and the color orange that just screams cozy to me. I put together the cutest little mood board that is just perfect for a cozy fall tablescape.

Let’s get started. For the base, you can either use your table if you have a woodsy type of table or you can cover your table with this linen lookalike tablecloth from Amazon that comes in lots of sizes and so handy to have when you want to dress up your table a bit. It comes in lots of other colors too!

Now another surfire way to dress up a table is with a leaf runner. I love these eucalyptus wreaths because they are so versatile and inenxpensive. And they just instantly elevate the entire look of your table.

Next, I like to use these dried orange slices in a few ways. You can hide them between the leaves of the runner and you can use them as place cards or napkin rings. The options are endless. Make a hole in the middle of a citrus round and then string a bit of jute twine through to wrap around a napkin or place card or bundle of flowers. It just ties into the whole cozy autumn vibe for me.

Another thing I like to add on the runner are candlesticks. These woodsy, chunky, rustic candlesticks are just perfect and match the tablecloth so well. What I’ve found with more neutral and wood colored decor is that I can constantly reuse them because they just match everything! So anything wood colored is always a good buy in my book!

And of course you’re going to need some chunky candles to go with that. These candles last forever and have this shimmer to them that makes them look luxurious. I mean nothing says fall like some good ol’ candles am I right? They are also unscented so you don’t have to worry about any toxic fragrances circulating in your home while they burn.

Now for your table settings, I always go with a very basic plate style, because I like to dress up the place card or napkin rather. These are some of the best disposable party plates I’ve found on Amazon and they wash so well you can even reuse them!

Now for the chargers beneath the plate. These hyacinth chargers are so pretty and are really a great staple to have in your cupboard. They match with everything and really elevate the table. This tablescape would be totally fine without it as well. It’s just something that adds a little oomph and pizzaz.

Now for the silverware, I love the pointy ended disposable cutlery but I’m a bit bored of the conventional colors so when I came across this wooden handled one, I was floored. They are stunning! And a perfect addition to our woodsy, citrusy, fall tablescape.

For cups, disposable champagne flutes that look like glass but aren’t glass are my jam.

For napkins, a classic linen napkin with a bit of detail at the edge adds a timeless touch to the place setting. Especially with the dried orange detail.

I love flowers, adding a dried bunch of flowers to anything immediately give it this edgy chic vibe. To go with our orange, woodsy, autumn theme here, I chose these dried pale orange blossoms that are so elegant. Instant upgrade to any tablescape.

So there you have it, that’s my cozy autumn tablescape. I hope you found this helpful! Join me over at @babylustudios on Instagram for daily fun!

Until next time,
